This week the flood for me was faces. The faces of homeless people who do not have a home, who lost everything, who have been staying at Waldo Baptist Church for now over a week. They are receiving food, clothes ,and shelter for now through Waldo's Red Cross ministry but the days before us are crucial. We who call ourselves members of the church of Jesus Christ will be ask to apply the scripture: Love your Neighbor as yourself. I have heard this preached and if you ask "Who is our Neighbor?", it is anyone we meet. Or we could contemplate the verse when they ask Jesus, "When did we feed you and clothe you?". And Jesus replied you did this when you did this to the least of mine.
Here are the names of just ten of the children who requested a Bible this past week and they have parents to go with them. Please pray for:

I'm sure many of you are helping other flood victims that you know that will need the above help but if none of your family or friends were affected then Praise GOD. We can continue to help Waldo this week prepare meals. I encourage you to visit individually these people, share the love of Jesus. Do whatever Jesus tell you to do. Just wanted you to know. Let the Spirit lead.
